Datek is expanding in Australia

Due to several new customers and an increasing number of orders Datek Australia has decided to move to larger premises. The new office and production facility measure 330 Square meters and is better suited for our demands. Please find our new address and contact information below distributors.

Renewable energy

Datek change over to buying only renewable energy from wind and water power. Renewable energy is necessary in order to reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide that causes global warming. By this environmental commitment Datek has reduced its emissions of carbon dioxide by 11 ton per year.

Since many years ago Datek is using geothermal power to heat its office and productions facilities. Thanks to the geothermal power Datek has been able to significantly reduce its energy consumption and at the same time protect the environment.

Ergonomic hook carrier

Datek has introduced an ergonomic hook carrier for its line of MIDI transmitters. The hook carrier reduce the stress on shoulders and back and creates an restful working environment even during long working hours. The hook is also perfect for shorter sessions since it is easy to put on and take off. Because of its design with simple adjustments the hook suits all body types.

Sauer-Danfoss PLUS+1

As sole radio remote control supplier, Datek has developed a customised interface for the Sauer-Danfoss microcontroller, PLUS+1. The powerful and flexible microcontroller used in the PLUS+1 series provide optimum performance for mobile plant control. The controllers incorporate CAN-bus communications, with a capacity for 88 different functions and a maximum 10A load, and software configured outputs for current and voltage controlled or digital functions. Data feedback from the machine to the user is enabled via a graphic display and transmitter LEDs. Both Datek radio remote control systems and the Sauer-Danfoss microcontroller are made to order according to specifications for respective applications. Providing you with an outstanding total solution for control of respective plant.

Angle, free-fall and chock detection

Datek has developed a angle, free-fall and chock detection feature for the MIDI transmitter series. Should the operator drop the transmitter or fall over, this immediately triggers a stop function and the controlled plant ceases operation. The protection device senses a fall or if the transmitter is lying at an unnatural angle. The feature is available as an option on all new transmitters, the protection can also be fitted to earlier Datek models. Please contact us for further information.
